米Connectix社の運命を変えたのは、Virtual Serverという開発途上のソフトだった。
でも、このVirtual Serverがどういうソフトなのかは、あまり耳にしないし、
実際の画面も見たことがない人が多いと思う。
コネクティクス社の広報の方々に聞いたところ、実はちゃんと日本のイベントでも紹介されたことがある製品だが、これまで日本のメディアでは、翻訳記事が何度か載っただけでほとんど露出していなかったようだ（私もMacと直接関係ないということで軽視していました。スミマセン）
今回、月刊アスキー５月号で単発の記事を作成することになり、コネクティクス社広報の方々にご尽力いただき貴重な図版をいただいた（ありがとうございました）
月刊アスキー最新号では、Virtual Serverそのものの扱いは１ページだが、合計４ページでVirtual PCテクノロジーとは何かをあらためて紹介しています
